Hi experts,
I want to connect ultrasonic distance sensor to Whisper Node, running on CR2032 battery, and make periodical measuring (to check the garage door status).
I found out that HC-SR04 is running on 5v and Whisper Node can supply only 3.3v. I've ordered some level converters/shifters by amazon

but it seems they are designed to be used between two active systems, where both systems' supplied voltages should be connected to the board, so it isn't suitable solution for me (I have no 5v source).
Last night I've tried to find out how to increase voltage from 3.3 to 5v, found some clues, but is it really only possible with transistor, like 2N3904 or mosfet?
Seems to be not so easy to implement.
